Baratti & Milano
Baratti & Milano is a luxury chocolate company that originated in Piedmont, Italy and expanded to the US market in 2018. We were hired to create their winter Instagram campaign and increase brand awareness through social media.
Objective:
Our objective was to create a winter campaign that incorporated the elements of the rich history of the brand’s past 160 years alongside the products they were offering today in order to solidify Baratti & Milano as a player in the luxury chocolate market in the US, increase brand awareness, and drive sales.
Process:
The first step was creating a content calendar that included daily posts featuring high-quality product photography, as well as behind-the-scenes glimpses of the chocolate-making process. We utilized the company’s rich history of media assets like calendars and brochures from the 1900s to design posts that combined the elements of their history while also highlighting current product offerings. Within the larger content calendar we developed a 12 days of sales mini-campaign that utilized hashtags and special offers to drive sales, the rest of the winter posts leveraged history rich captions, hashtags, and story to attract an ideal audience who would engage with the content as well as purchase the luxury products.
Results:
We successfully created a cohesive winter campaign that aligned with the brand's values and goals. The results were an increase in brand awareness and engagement, ultimately leading to increased sales over the course of the campaign. The owners of the company were very pleased with the results of the graphic design and the revenue increases that it drove.
