Alina has always been interested in why people make the decisions that they do, and what will drive them to change their minds. From inventing a product in 2009 and realizing how phrasing and delivery changes receptivity while pitching to investors at a young inventors club, to traveling extensively and seeing the ways photos and videos can be pieced together to tell an impactful story. She has always had her eye on the magic behind conveying a story. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Bauer School of Business in 2019.

Mason Started his Film Career at a young age. Creating short films and projects featured in the Cannes Film festival while still in high school along with creating a viral video that was parodied by South Park. In 2014 Mason founded Captivation Films, while Attending Arizona State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Filmmaking Processes. 

After graduation he moved to Houston Texas where he grew Captivation Films into a full service digital branding agency. Everything changed in 2017, when he met and fell in love with Alina Gersib. They joined forces and grew the company under the name Kaio Media. They were married in the spring of 2022.

In 2023, they began production on a YouTube mini-travel series while traveling and working across Europe. Mason and Alina enjoy hiking, spending time outdoors, and writing and directing independent film projects.
